I have an opinion piece in the 'Point of View' section of today's Hamilton Spectator. It's my effort to pre-empt an exceptionally silly protest set to take place this weekend.

Very good article Mike. McHale and his band of half-wits have used the flag to provoke negative sentiment for far too long.

Did he? That's unfortunate. At least he had a hilariously fruitless weekend.
I was impressed by how much your opinion piece affected me. I grew up beside Six Nations and my high school was 60% Native. Unfortunately, I feel the experience somewhat jaded me towards Native peoples and I often have little sympathy for their seemingly constant whining.
Your piece made me look at things from a new perspective and realize my own ignorance. Thanks for that.
