what the hell is South Toronto?

Queen's Quay?

I guess he means Etobicoke. Either way, Hostettler has got to stow it.

This is an interesting lesson, though. Perhaps now we can be more understanding when American ears aren't as receptive to Canadian preaching as we would like. Regardless of where right lies (with us), you don't want to be told how to run your show.

His ire used to be directed at gay people and scientists who contradict his beliefs. Now it's towards 'South Toronto'. Comments like this - I don't understand - does it make his area people MORE likely to vote him in?

Pretty pathetic. I'm glad our quickness to help downed air passengers in Canada on Sept. 11, and willing sacrifice of Canadian lives in Afghanistan is so appreciated. Not that we are, or should be, there to appease the US, it is nevertheless in part an operation aimed at the very threats we supposedly ignore.
