Boy - that Jamie Caroll. How out-of-touch can one be? I thought everyone knew that in this country - particularly when it comes to representation - there is a racial-cultural hierarchy. English and French need to be represented by English and French. The rest are allowed to enjoy the ride.

The McRoberts-Frulla-Duddle trifecta (as I conceive it) must be flaming mad. Oh - and so
they are.

I particularly liked the McRoberts slam - I wonder how many will get it? As the marxists say, what a "useful idiot" to the nationalists. Anyway, it's far from clear Carroll made the alleged comment and may have actually have said or meant the opposite. But good catch on how "wrong" it is to promote minority interests as any way as worthy as those of the "two founding peoples". You're the 1st to make the point publicly, as far as I know. Yes, the office needs more francophones - but what's wrong with more Chinese, Indians, etc., as well? But as I mused on my blog, if there was any such silly comment, the immediate, understandable, if misguided motivation may have been frustration with continual coded attacks on leader.

It is all bullshit.
Jamie has been misquoted.
People hear what they want to hear.
Even if it was a correct quote, what true Liberal would run off to the media to report it?
Fragasso? He is too afraid to face his own electorate - the membership of LPCQ.

Not sure how many will enjoy the McRoberts reference (you're one more than I'd expected, frankly).

You're both right though, my point is mute. It seems relatively certain that he was misquoted anyway.
